Featured Unusual bowl any help with makers stamp appreciated

Pinched bowl approx 7.5” diameter by 2” deep...any ideas who’s mark this is?

Studio pottery, which can be difficult to ID. Often found not far from home, though. Where did you find it?

 

Japanese pottery, looks like either 容 or perhaps more likely 大谷 - both can be names. Second may be for Otani.

I'd say it's a nice ikebana piece. The chop is 大谷. Rotate it clockwise. 大on top 谷 bottom.
