Unknown medal

    I picked this up today on a stall. I can't seem to find anything else like it online. It says 1815 and has Victoria written on it. Perhaps not queen Victoria of England though as she wasn't on the throne so early. It doesn't look like her either. The battle of Waterloo was in 1815 so maybe that has some relevance. Other than that I am completely baffled. It's about 2cm sq.

    It was made after 1815 in the UK; that's an 1850-ish to 1883 era British Registry mark. (essentially a design copyright) It looks like it was punched to hang on a watch chain. That's all I've got.

    It is a Bun Head Queen Victoria, but the date is 4 years before she was born.
    The round front and reverse are copies of a Shield Back Sovereign.

    I say a fantasy piece.
