Unknown marks

    Looks like head figure, F, lion passant all in ovals.

    Monarch's head = pre-1890, down to about 1780, I believe.

    It's not British, it's American coin silver. Don't know who those pseudo-marks might have belonged to, but that 'Olive' pattern is attributed to John A. Cole of New York, NY, and found with his marks and an 1853 patent date, though no patent seems to exist - it's also found with other marks, likely produced after his shop closed in the late 1850s. If someone has McGrew's book, there may be an attribution there for that set of pseudo-marks...

    It's an 'Olive" variant, quite a few of them from that era...
