Anyone have any info on these? I'm more curious about the enamel on copper piece since it came from a nice collection of antiques. The pretty calligraphy? brooch with the swirls looks costume to me. The enamel one is a home craft piece. It probably ended up among the antiques for sentimental reasons, maybe made by one of the (grand)children.

I think it might be worth at least putting a magnet on the silver one.

I did as you suggested. There is enough magnetism that the molybdenum magnet stuck (it did not slide down slowly), but it is not highly magnetic.

Not silver then - or if it is, not high grade.

It was the style during the 1950s to have almost everything with fancy initials. Think I still have a couple of pieces someplace.

The copper enamel was popular in the 1960s. Some were home crafted others were commercial sold.

Are these family pieces? The second picture shows the initials correctly. I see
E L and can't tell the third letter -could it be "Z".

I'm not sure where that one came from. Somewhere around I do have some inscribed/dedicated jewelry I bought from a guy whose elderly mother passed. When I come across the pieces, I'll check the initials and see if the first and middle are E & L. By the way, it's impressive how you deciphered those letters. Looked like a ball of writhing snakes to me.

The photo of the swirled piece is too out of focus. It looks like a cast production piece and not engraved.
