Looks like it is known as a deviled egg and oyster plate. 1940's ANCHOR-HOCKING GLASS 10" OYSTER SERVING PLATE Clamshell Pattern. Thx!

We love em too! Seems like most people around here barely make them, except around Christmas time or for summer barbecues.

I have one in white with gold trim with the original label in the original box. I find it sells best around Easter time.

Me too! I've never had raw oysters....can't imagine how it could be enjoyed just sliding down one's throat, but fried oysters.........? YUM!

Never had raw oysters at all... yuck.
I also have a deviled egg plate from my grandmother. That one is a ceramic one.
We used to have deviled eggs when I was growing up on dairy night.

Raw oysters are sublime. I ate my way round Vancouver Island on them. Raw clams are also yum.

My brothers and dad loved em. They had a nick name for those slimy buggers which I won't say here cause it is too gross.:(
