Featured Unique 70s 80s tension set .5ct Radiant Diamond Ring!

    Bought this today for a tad over scrap and I loved the uniqueness of it. I definitely think this is possibly 70s or 80s. The unfortunate part is that the .5 carat radiant cut diamond has a pretty sizable feather inclusion and is noticeable only up close in certain angles.... Still a cool ring! You can see the inclusion in the last two photos towards the middle of the diamond.

    Is it actually tension set or channel set? The first tension set ring was produced in 1979 in Germany.

    I am not sure which setting it may be, the maker mark is MAICO 14k and the only thing I can find on them is that they were trademarked in 1984. It may be channel however!

    I'd have bought that sooo fast. It's a fancy-cut stone and diamonds like that sell for buxx when they turn up.
