    Here is a photo and some history on one of my British Generals uniforms.

    Richards, Major-Gen. William Watson

    C.B 1942; C.B.E 1941; M.C. 1919; Colonel Commandant Royal Army Ordnance Corps since 1947 (Representative 1951); Chairman Gold Coast Selection Trust Ldt. Ariston Gold Mines (1929) Ltd; Amalgamated Banket Areas Ltd, etc.

    b.14/12/1892 son of Thomas Wilson Watson Richards, St. Hellier, Jersey

    m. 1936 Alice Marie de los Angeles Cecile

    daughter of Eugene Neuville, late Counsul-General of France at Gibralter.

    Served European War 1914-1918 (M.C)

    Employed under air Ministry 1937-1939; served War 1939-1940 B.E.F., France, 1940-1943, M.E.F.(dispatches thrice, C.B., C.B.E.)

    Director Clothing and Stores, War Office, 1943-1946;

    Major General-1945

    Controller of Ordnance Services, War Office, 1946-1948

    Retired 1948
