Uniform Buttons?

    Found a stash of buttons today, included were these which seem like they could be from uniforms. They vary in size from almost half dollar size to dime size.
    There’s not a lot of military background in the family so I wouldn’t be surprised if these weren’t actually military, but here that are anyway.

    The device in the center is the Seal of the United States - not just for the State Dept. Looking at military buttons online, it looks like some uniforms do have the Seal on the buttons.

    The last picture looks like it's a button from an Oddfellows uniform. (fraternal)

    i noticed subtle differences in the surround of the 13 stars and thought that might have denoted different offices.
