I love wagon trains. I've got a painting of one in my bedroom with the Indians on a cliff scouting them out. Your pendant at first glance gave me a Mexican wagon train feel with the oxen and the man's hat. Is that a Mayan or Aztec type stamp on the top and what's the letters underneath?

Sorry, all I think I see is 925 for sterling. Unusual piece, woman driving an ox-drawn covered (Conestoga?) wagon. What does the material seem to be?

the numbers are 925 very well could be a piece of plate.the motif could be an owl, a pineapple or a Mayan figure, marks on back look like intertwined circles, ,btw back is encased in protective covering similar to what are on coins, thanks for your collective inputs.

That's a nice work....well made, with a serious makers mark on it...clear and crisp.
It may not be old.....but it should be findable in the long run.
Where did you get it ?

    Looks like shardware to me.

Same here. It wasn't made in China however, unless they shipped American-made dinnerware over to use as raw materials. A local gentleman makes shard jewelry out of pieces from all over the map, so it could easily be an artisan piece.
