I only see one - a fox. Are there some I am not seeing?

Well, I've looked at that creature several times and still can't figure out what it is.

Red like a fox, but looks part bear, part pit bull, maybe some pig thrown in and almost human eyes.

It looks very sinister and almost evil, the whole scene, without expressing anything bad. Photo doesnt do it justice. I also think IT has human eyes and that author maybe wanted it to look like certain person.

    Hi,
I think it looks just like the foxes around here. I do not find it sinister at all. It reminds me of further North, perhaps in Canada.

As I said, it looks a bit different up close. There probably isnt much difference in austrian and canadian fox or mountain forest. :)

It has some numbers on the back, glazed over, which doesnt matter probably, but I cant help but think that the grass in the lower part of the plate looks like some handwriting

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The roots of the tree also look like the tentacles of a sea creature, like an octopus or something. This almost looks like an illustration from a book. Maybe it is supposed to be from some story or folk tale?

I can't see any lettering in the grass, but it could be.

    Thank you Fig!
The whole scene is alive and dark.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I'd put some $$ there's a siggy up in that grass somewhere!!!!! Maybe not much, but sure looks like it here and there.......especially by that long root coming off the left side of the tree.....kind of looks like an 'S' and the rest of a sig.......
