These two items came in a box of stuff I grabbed recently. They are fired ceramic of some kind, cold painted. Based on the leg from sole to knee being 4", this must have been a pretty tall doll/figurine. I'm thinking a drum major - the baton is metal.
Do you see the hole right at the bottom of the boot in front of the heel? and the slanted piece the foot rests on? I'm thinking that the figure was articulated and moved.
    Any ideas?

I think you're right on both, Book. From some kind of moving toy?

Majorette? Looks like a girl since the leg is bare.

Or a boy in shorts. Or two different dolls?

I believe the leg is wearing tight white pants.

    Hi,
They were all over the place in the 60s/70s.
I used to drink JW black label until I found my true love Gin and Tonic (Bombay) and then I started with Sapphire Bombay and then I quit. Not that I had a problem just decided to save money and not turn out like several of my close friends. I think I have about four or five drinks a year.

I cycled a bottle of Sapphire....because I used to have a thing for Boodles , which by the way is the best tasting gin I've ever had......but then I decided to stay with the more versatile rum.

    just sayin...
