    Hi all,
Would anyone be able to help identify the stones in these two necklaces please?

Could the first one be carnelian? There are no marks but I think the stones are set in silver, a bit tarnished but it does polish up beautifully. Also would I be right in thinking this would be Edwardian?

The second one has dark blue beads set in silver metal filigree caps with bar spacers/links. The beads are grooved (melon?) & I am not sure if these are stones of some sort or ceramic - don't think they are glass. Not sure of age - possibly 1920s?

    Your thoughts would be much appreciated. 20211018_143007.jpg 20211018_145423.jpg 20211018_150319.jpg 20211018_182043.jpg 20211018_143113.jpg 20211018_143007.jpg 20211018_145423.jpg 20211018_150319.jpg 20211018_182043.jpg 20211018_143113.jpg 20211018_141754.jpg 20211018_142325.jpg 20211018_142250.jpg 20211018_142355.jpg 20211018_142010.jpg 20211018_143007.jpg 20211018_143007.jpg 20211018_145423.jpg 20211018_150319.jpg 20211018_182043.jpg 20211018_143113.jpg 20211018_141754.jpg 20211018_142325.jpg 20211018_142250.jpg 20211018_142355.jpg 20211018_142010.jpg

The red ones most look like glass to me although carnelian is possible. Blue ones also look man made, if not glass they likely ceramic as you say.

Both look like glass to me. You will have to have them tested to be sure.
