Two Hand Made Tribal Figures: Any Ideas?

    Hello!

    I recently acquired these two figures at a local thrift store. They seem very well made, although I do not believe they are too old. Still, I thought they might be easy to identify, but I have had no luck in that so far. I am most curious about what culture they might come from, if anyone has any ideas. :)

    They are about 16.5 cm tall and the wood on the base seems like balsa to me. And if more pictures are needed, I can get those later today.

    Any help is appreciated!
