Twisted Oval Pin

Any ideas on what I have here? Does the pin on the back indicate a particular time period?

Also, what is that splotch on it? Does that point to the golden tone being a particular metal?

Any keywords I could use to sell it? "Twisted" seems inadequate.

I am not a joolie at all, but am going to guess 1960's.

60s ish, might be Beaujewels. Chain mesh frame and I wonder if it had something in the middle. The splotch is gilding loss.

 

1960s. Circle pins were a thing then.

I agree. 1960s into early 70s, from that chain mail mesh around the edge. There's no sign of anything missing.

 

I've seen styles with a porcelain plaque in the centre. Agree that doesn't look incomplete.
