Featured Twig or Root Hand Made Basket - Looking for Info Help - Thanks

Hoping someone has some info on this basket. Is it made of roots or twigs? Where was it made? Have you ever seen one like this before? Quite unique. Just curious about it and know nothing. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give.

Lovely basket, kaudet. I remember my mother using similar baskets in the 70s or 80s for silk flower arranging. I don't know if that is any help.

Found this. Wonder if my basket could be from California vineyard, too. What do you think? They are asking over 500.00. for theirs

 

It looks pretty close. It says it was found at a winery, not that it was made there. They call the style Adirondack, which is a long way from California. Adirondack probably because of the rough, rustic look. It would be good to do some more research in that direction, I think.
The price is very ambitious imho, and did you see the shipping fee? These people really want to make money, no matter what. That doesn't mean they will, though, with an attitude like that.
