I have two framed Foujita prints, both signed in print The couple is a fairly common image of his, but for the second seated nude I was unable to find any match. There is some kind of chop or artifact on the lower right corner of the seated nude, but undecipherable - may be able to enhance it for a better view. I will try later. The results on his prints are so varied. Some are extremely high and since it often isn't stipulated whether they are hand signed, one could assume so? Dunno and thanks!
the top one is faded is that what you mean? they are aquatints, one color his work tends to that soft effect w/o a lot of contrast.
Have they been examined out of the frame? They could also very well be black and white reproductions of Foujita works on paper.
I just came back to this for the purpose of helping someone else understand what signed in print might mean. Thanks Mark London and Afa
