Featured Trying to confirm date ?

    Person I got them from said they dated to 1840-60. Details; brass 9 inches tall, silvering 90% gone except on the base, each made in 5 pieces. 18June2017-077.JPG 18June2017-080.JPG 18June2017-085.JPG 18June2017-096.jpg

    can it be dated by the fonts used for the number 32..??

    it looks older than the 1950's

    Id have guessed the date about what the seller said. They are very pretty,regardless of the silver being gone.I think European.But Im often wrong.

    Seems to be an imperfection, not writing.

    The previous owner had quite a few European Antiques, many from Germany.

    Those look right for mid nineteenth. They’re too complex to be later ones.
