    Hi all i picked this up at my local thrift and was hoping to pin down an age frame.
    I find no marks on the glass
    but the stamp for Roos Bros is clear and stamped into the leather is hand sewn.
    the store in SF burned on 1906 so i was hoping this was made before they rebuilt. any Ideas.
    Unfortunately one stopper is broke off and stuck inside. and another is chipped.

    The alcohol trick is probably the best to use.

    I may be way off base here, but if I had to do a SWAG on age it would be the 1930's-1940's.

    Are the caps chrome or silver?
