tourist ware or antique?

    Is this candle stick a piece of tourist ware or is it antique? I think it is slipware. 10.jpg 14.jpg 15.jpg

    It's real slipware, and I don't think it's Old old. Vintage old probably - 40 years or more, but not 200.

    It’s a souvenir from Salou, in Catalunya. It reads Rdo which is is short for recuerdo (souvenir) of El Sotano, which was a bodega there.

    Catalan places have a lovely habit of giving favoured customers little things like this.

    Just want to add that "el sotano" means "the basement"
