    I have recently grown my tobacco tag collection but can't find a good way to display them yet. I would like to able to hang them on a wall framed but do not want to use glue or an adhesive. Any thoughts?

    Welcome, JimJam. I'm afraid I don't know what a "tobacco tag" is or what they are made of. Do you have some pictures you could post so people can make recommendations?

    I suppose, in that picture, that's a felt background and it's just the texture of the cloth that holds the labels in place Some seem to be slipping, but then the glass appears to be broken. I think using that framing technique it is necessary to have the glass in contact with the labels. I don't know if that's a good idea, but I don't know what else to suggest (at the moment).

    It's a pertinent question for me as I'm looking for a way to fame a print that has no margins. I want to show the whole print, but I don't like the idea of actual contact with the glass fronting. For my purposes, I was thinking of stamp hinges, but that's glue and not a particularly attractive idea either.

    Hi,
    I use old fashioned picture corners. I bought a large box of them from an archival material supply. JimJam contact a place that sells stamps. You can buy the clear covers with a black background just cut them to size. Better than the hinges since they are archival.

    Those labels are metal...& they have little prongs.....
    the glass should be touching them to keep them in place too...& one can use an acrylic sheet also..

    Welcome to our forum!!! :happy::happy::happy:

    How about using a shadow box like frame such as the one below. You can find them in all different sizes.

    You can then use map pins in a color to match the material backing or the tag itself. These have a very short steel point & a not overly large head so they will not obscure the tags. You may have to put a thin sheet of cork or Styrofoam behind the material so you have something to push the pins into.

    The tags would sit on the pins with the heads acting like an easel & keep them from falling to the bottom. The backs of this type of frame is also easy to get off so that if you decide to rearrange them or one does happen to fall off it could be retrieved & replaced quite easily.

    Rather than having them all framed together in one large piece, you could do them in multiple different sizes & arrange them in a grouping.

    Let us know how you decide to display them & we would love to see the finished project. :happy::happy::happy:
