To polish or not to polish Deco Cartier Sterling picture frame

I would normally not do anything to this Cartier frame, just leave it as found, but... others that have successfully sold for $$ (and one for an astronomical $$) are not nearly as heavily oxidized and look more "Cartier-ish."

I don't mind spending the time, but it could unveil (I don't see them, it's not been battered) other flaws and it would add labor, etc. I included the back tab, bc it shows how heavy the patina really is and how much work it'd be to bring it up to snuff...

Just curious what you guys think - because I'm overthinking it, of course. !

    One more vote for POLISH!

Note that PATINA and TARNISH are not the same thing!

    Hi,
I think it needs polished, both the frame and the wood.

And that is another very good reason to polish.
You would not want your buyer to get it, polish it (and they will), and then find them.

It also looks more like titanium, which is a much better metal.
