This plate measures 8-1/2 inches. The monogram stands for Oceanic Navigation Steam Company. According to titanic collector.com, this plate pattern was used at the Captain’s Table.

It’s obviously a decorative plate but I have exhausted my search in finding one online.

It appears to be older, perhaps it was produced closer to the date of the sinking? How would I know? So can anyone tell me about this plate?

Why can’t I find one anywhere? I’ve searched eBay, auction sites and used the google image search and amazon, to no avail.

The originals were Spode pattern R4331.
This looks to be a replica.

Chinese "homage" to the original Titanic plate, decorated in Macao AFAIK.

"Decorative purpose" language is used on recent Asian imports.

There are only six in existence (out of an original order of 190) according to the link I provided.

No not at all, like Debora said, that mark is commonly found on Chinese imports, many of which are decorated in a factory in Macao, near Hong Kong.
