    Hello,

I am looking for Information on three toys I recently purchased from a secondhand store.

What I can tell you: They're made of wood, they appear to be handcrafted with an amazing attention to detail. One of the pieces, has a cork base.

I will post more pictures upon request, thanks.

Hi! If you Google search wood (or wooden) bead people, wood bead girl, wood bead ornament, you'll be able to find a few examples.
    They're pretty cool!

They look familiar - 60's or 70's? Similar to the bead toys that had a place underneath to push up and the toy figure collapsed. Let it go and they straightened up again. My son had one of those in the early 70's - maybe still has it!

Does anyone have any idea on what they're worth?

Based on the clothing styles (and a gut feeling), I think maybe there from the '50s.

You would need to find some that have sold recently to get an idea of what they're going for. Of course, that can be unpredictable from day to day.

I have some links for you, that I saved on NotePad over the last few days. I was specifically looking for the figures with hair and clothes, like yours. They're easier to find with painted details, and alot of those are in original box or still on original cards, and are labeled Made in Germany.

This link goes to Pinterest, and I'm not going there. Am linking to the Google cache. Pinterest is too annoying since they started blocking navigation with that overlay which makes you sign in everytime you want to look at a picture.

I don't know why I didn't think of it before, but it might be worthwhile to do some searching at WorthPoint. You don't need an account to search there. You might find something that gives you more keywords and info.

    Laura -

Thanks for posting those photos. The last one, of the set of miniatures, reminded me that I have one of those, myself.

Mine is definitely from the early 1960's (1964, to be exact - I remember when I got it!)
