Tiny bronze or brass animal head

Any ideas on the origin or age? I picked this up at a wealthy estate sale. It is small, just 1.5" long.

 

I think this little miniature mask/pendent is a West African brass lost-wax casting. Compare the form with this Guro antelope mask from Ivory Coast/Cote d'Ivoire -

I’m guessing it was made in 20th C.. as a tourist souvenir.

 

I'm wondering if this could be an Akan African brass gold weight ?

 

Perhaps it is trying to be one. The faked black crud and very poor casting turn me off.

 

I think it is an Akan pendant, with that connecting thing between the horns. I used to have an Akan mask pendant, but that was more human-like.
Come to think of it, I may still have it.
