About 50 years old, so 60s-70s vintage. Each piece marked "TIFFANY & CO. STERLING".

I'm expecting another nephew or niece in the new year, and wanted to get their silver spoon in advance :p Then I saw this, and decided to get the knife, and the fork as well...

The baby pieces actually often predate the 1958 introduction of 'Cordis', including this set, which bears the 'm' mark of Tiffany director John C. Moore II, in use from 1907-47. They're fairly common, I've sold several pieces over the years, including some with a less common 'TIFFANY & CO. STG m' mark, and can recall one spoon with an engraved date in the '40s. My copy of Dr. Hood's 'Tiffany Silver Flatware' is packed away, and can't recall if I ever looked for anything about these pieces, but wouldn't necessarily have expected to find mention...

These pieces are all dated 'm'. What range of dates would that include? I can't find any information on the internet.

I did, but it didn't give me as much info as I'd hoped. Or maybe I'm missing something. I dunno.

Your little m is shown in mark example G. Below the stack of mark examples is the alphabetical list of the examples. Look at the range of years in which example G was used. 1907 to 1947.

Oh NOW I see it! Thanks Bakers.

Given that the 'style' came out in 1958 (or that's what it says) but the mark dates to 1947...

    ?????

Do we assume that this set was from the 1940s? Or earlier? Or...

See this quote from Cheryl in post #5.

The introduction in '58 was for a full table setting line, rather than just for the baby pieces.

I'm learning so much here. They're a lot older than I thought they would be!

The 'Cordis' pattern was patented in 1957, #D179983.

Doubt the design predates the 1940s (though the designer, Oscar Riedener, started with Tiffany in 1926), and they most likely continued using the dies with the 'm' until they needed new ones, so actual production could be later than the '40s. Seem to recall, that somewhere in my files, have an old Tiffany ad or two showing the giftware with the same handle, which also predates the introduction of 'Cordis', but don't recall any with the baby pieces - if some time frees up, might check my files...
