I recently received two items that I believe may be of some value. But I'm a novice and could use some help, if you're willing. I suppose I'll have to list them separately b/c of the number of pics.

Item #1: produced by Monarch Furniture of Jamestown, NY. Since they went out of business in 1932, it's obviously older than that. It's in remarkable shape for something that old. The glass is etched.

Thank you for any help you're able to give.

Oh my...that's lovely! Do you have any pictures of the insides?

Footnote: Where are you located? :)

Very nice mass produced piece,1930s is about right. Not rare or particularly valuable,in my humble opinion.

These sell around me, but not for much relatively speaking. They're out of fashion.
It would make a heckuva nice storage cabinet for video games and the like, but no one seems to think of that.

I find it mildly amusing that I adore pieces like this, and not many people do. :)

No one mentioned but this is a china cabinet. Wood is walnut veneers with solids stained to match. American circa 1930. Condition is everything with this era furniture and yours looks to be pretty good. Here in my semi-rural Midwest location, you might see this at $100 - 150.00 at retail. 1/3 to 1/2 at wholesale type venues (Thrift store). You might do better (or worse) in some other locations.

Nice solidly constructed china cabinet. But as others have alluded to the market for secondhand furniture these days is very weak to nonexistent.
