I found these today at the same thrift store I found the large carved buddha mask I posted about earlier. The frames look nice but on back it looks like they have staples at the joining edges, so probably old/expensive, right?
But the paintings themselves are paintings not prints - they are all 3 oil on wood.
And they look like little Botero paintings to me!
The paintings are all unsigned why wouldn't the artist sign at least one when they are this good?
These aren't factory art are they?
Thanks all for any help; I appreciate it.

    Also - the paintings themselves measure 4" x 3"
    With the frame 8.5" x 7.5"

Amateurish to me. Might be recent paintings stuck in a older frame to make them look old.

Also modern hardware on the back of the frames. The frames are not that old either. Those staples are brand new it appears.

    Suspect a souvenir from Colombia.

The material it's painted on looks to me to be Luan plywood. Is it a very thin plywood? If so, that means it's most likely modern and from the far east - Philippines, China, like that. That's also consistent with the framing.

That black painted luan panel screams factory art.
