I found these big, beautiful original Rougier tulip table lamps at my local thrift store today & ended up buying them for $500. The reason I goy them fairly inexpensive (though it didn't feel like it when I was paying!) was because 1 leaf has been broken at the base.
It looks like it'd been repaired a while ago & either the heat or the age caused the repair to give out.
Can I repair them with crazy glue or plastic cement? Is there somewhere I can take them to be repaired? I think I'm lucky because the break is straight across and it fits back into place fairly straight.
Or should I leave as is & let buyer repair?
Also, they could be turned a quarter & it couldn't' be seen (like in first 3 photos)?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

INHO they need to be restored not repaired. If they were mine, I'd let the buyer do it.

I've never seen anything like those, they're beautiful! Who would send those to a thrift store?

This is why one doesn't attempt a do-it-one-self.

Maybe same people who donated Fla Highwaymen painting - but that was a lot harder to tell it was valuable! (Maybe because leaf was broken off?)

I once had to pack one of those for transport via a moving truck. As far as it know it went well.
    Fragile stuff those petals.

I put them on FB for $950 as is because I don't want to try to ship them!
