I found some cool pieces yesterday at my local thrift store that I wanted to show you all!

1st is a painting by Miami artist Elmo Gideon (almost looks like a magazine cut out face with palette style painting around it - weird!)

The 2nd is a cool little sculpture by artist Alberto Spinetti from his 'Boxes' series.

And finally I found a mid century(?) litho/print that looks like it was signed Dale Trip, but I can't find anything with that name.
I think I'm reading the first name wrong - can anyone tell me who the artist of this is?

As always I thank you & am grateful for your help! (and I hope you like the Gideon & Spinetti!)

Is it a painted face, or a cut out face? The detail is not close enough for me to see the textures.

Not thrilled that some artist had this in his/her studio and dripped black onto it.

If this is a print, it's a mono-print pulled from a stone. Looks more like an abstract with cra-pas to me, but I think it could be a print only because it is marked as such.

No the face is painted too but flat not thickly like hair

Thanks. It appears to have been painted with the artist looking directly at a photograph of a girl's face. It is very flatly depicted.

Also the Alberto spinetti sculpture figure looks like it has been replaced? The ones I saw online were all darker in color and not a turquoise color like the one in the OP post. Also the figure on the OP post is more crude looking than the ones online. Maybe contact him and ask. I could be wrong though. That's a shame it has black paint on it and some paint loss.

I think your idea to contact the artist is the best one yet! Thanks!
I agree about the crude look to this figure, by comparison to the ones on the website.

No idea of name on last one?

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The picture looks blurry on my computer screen. It looks like Dock Trip. But it may be something else, for sure.
