I bought this the other day at the Ukranian thrift for $5.00 usd. It is 9" tall and in perfect condition. Nice patina on the brass. I have never seen so many flowers on a cloisonne vase. No getting lazy and adding some larger ones lol. Any thoughts on age?

    First of all: Gorgeous!
Second: Last half of the 20th century, maybe 1970s-80s.

If it was one of my finds I would be reluctant to sell it on. It would be on my mantel piece.

I had to find a way to make these decisions on weather to keep or sell. If it was Japanese I would have it on a shelf already.

I don't do any thrift shops very often (Mainly bc I don't want to bring anything HOME!!!!), but have NEVER seen anything as nice as that in ANY thrift!!!!

Sometimes how it works for me is that I have to keep the item for a while at least, even if I plan to eventually sell it. Not true for everything, just once in a while, something is so nicely done, or something about it... I can't quite give it up immediately.

This this a very special thrift store.
I have found some of my most profitable items from this place.
