Thomas Messenger Oil Lamp - any info?

    Hi,

    I joined the forum because I own this Thomas Messenger regency oil lamp. I really don't know much about these, but I have seen them sell in pairs for some ridiculous sums of money. As you can see my one has lost its "partner" and its glass shade.

    How collectable/valuable are these and is there any way to track down the one that it goes with?
