This May Be New; Attractive An' Finely Finished Red Clay Chinese Teapot

    Based on other red clay tea pots this size I've seen here an' there, this one might be recent...but a few things are different enough for me to hold a sliver of hope that it's older.
    It's signed, under the spout I think. It has a strainer an' the lid has a steam hole. The lid has 4 characters with odd 'flourishes'. The pattern on the side seems to convey pine needles, but much of it is hard to fathom. It shows some use; it might hold 8 or 9 ounces, but not more.
    Can any of you read the signature, offer an age estimate, or any other information? Thanks for lookin'!

    Agree, it is a Japanese 'yokode kyusu', which means side-hand(led) teapot.
