This is Called an Usubata, for Ikebana Use, I Think...

    This is 1 of 3 I have; it an' 1 other are bronze, another is cast iron.
    Its ~6 3/4" diameter, ~2 1/2" high; it weighs 376 grams. The other 2 are perhaps twice its size. It is unmarked, well made an' finished. How is it used? Is there a chance it has some age to it?
    I'll find an' photograph the other 2, an' add the pics & dimensions here a bit later. Thanks for lookin'!

    Very good, Holly. The iron one has that base part, an' is seriously but uniformly covered with rust...it may be as old (give or take) as the 1st Dibs offering, an' is larger. More pics when I can get a round tuit.
