Think I did good.. Tang horse.

Looking for the experts here. About 41 inches tall weighs about 60 to 70 pounds. It sounds solid. Pretty sure its at least 1900 but hoping way older.

 

I’m very fond of Tang horses, I inherited a liking for them from my mother. You used (as in the 90s) to be able to get authentic Tang horses for ridiculously low prices, starting around £500, but since then the price has shot up...
Anywho! I think this is “modern” (a teasing phrase which may still make an item 50 years old), but photos of the bottom would help. I think a 19th century seller (here in London it’d be a high-end retailer like Libertys) would aspire to make it look “cleaner”, more like a piece of art than “an item with age”. Still a great thing... and I am prepared to be corrected!
