The two Fred Thompsons which signature belonged to the father?

    The elder Fred Thompson died in 1909. I haven't been able to find any information on which signature belonged to which Thompson. I wondered if anyone here might know. Thank you.

    One signature is printed in a very distinctive way. Here is an example
