So I forgot there were 3 other pieces, not two, and the 3rd I'm actually quite curious about! First up, is actually the 3rd haha. I'm wondering if the backing is missing, and if this was once hair jewelry? Its got the 19th hardware, but I really don't know when to put this. It almost looks like there's a mark on the clasp, but there's nothing in the impression when looked at under a loupe. I really got this pretty hat pin to replace one I didn't get and think about sometimes, it seemed older and was silver, but missing stones and expensive for the condition it was in. This is cute, a euro, and looks to have some age, but it seems smaller hats/hair had their phases so I don't know where to put this. And finally, I'm in a blue phase, from clothes to stones it seems! This spoke to me, and its one I'll actually wear I think! Super interesting with the circular theme and the colors. Am I right to put this at 20s/30s? This one's blurry, but I've included it to show the clasp. Thanks for looking!
Nice finds! The clover stickpin again looks Georgian to early Victorian paste to me. Good catch for 1€! The other are a bit newer. What makes you say the first brooch is hair jewelry? Isn't it a brooch?
You know its funny, I'm not used to seeing the pin through the brooch so I assumed something was missing. Of course when its on you'd only see the fabric of whatever you put it on. Silly me! Thank you haha No way the stickpin is that old! Goodness me if that's the case I had an excellent day in the field.
