    The people on the Deaths page have entries in the tree at familysearch.org, and there are descendents. Someone in the family interested in genealogy might like to have that bible, and at the very least, would be thankful to have images of the births, deaths, and marriages pages (and any other pages where family history is entered).

    How nice of you to check that source. And books ship via USPS Media Mail so wouldn't be a great expense if they wanted it returned to family.

    In good shape, I've sold similarly ornate bibles for $200 +/- 50, which might be around the cost of repairing it.

    Wow, no kidding! I've never even seen a bible like this sell, without much handwritten in. I have one stored from my deceased mother-in-law with only partial writings, just like this one. No one in their family wanted it..

    I think many families have same or similar. I'm surprised any collector interest beyond genealogical.
