Is there a way to determine if these rubbings are from Ankor Wat or Wat Pho Temple ? I've never taken them out of the frames for fear of tearing the paper. They measure 16" x 16" in their frames and have no visible dates or markings. Screenshot_20190630-012813~2.png Screenshot_20190630-012822~2.png

They are from Wat Pho, episodes from the Hindu epic Ramayana, Ramakien in Thai.
The Angkor Wat style is Khmer, with broader faces and wide crowns.
Thai rubbings are often advertised as Angkor Wat. I suppose that sounds better to some people, the mystery of Angkor.

The top one is Hanuman, the monkey God, who breaks rocks from a mountain. I think that was part of his fight against the demons who had abducted queen Sita, or Nang Seeda in Thai.
The main character on the other one could be the son of the demon king.

Thanks @Any Jewelry. I did a little research and kinda figured they were Wat Pho. But found very similar rubbings from Ankor Wat. I found a list of the characters with pics if each but was hard to identify. The closest one I believe was Hanuman's brother or uncle. It was awhile ago and can't remember for sure.
    Thanks again !!!

Ha. Had to fix Hanuman. Spell check changed it to Handyman.
