hi!I just gave away this table and I'm wondering what it is and it's worth? Very curious! I got it at a garage sale in and thinking it seventy's era at a guess. any help is appreciated! It's not in good condition but it may be able to be cleaned up. Thank you! I attached a detail as well.

    Welcome, Marierose!

Strange shape for that table, but the leather sections on the top were pretty popular from about the 40's on for awhile. Other than knowing that from personal experience, I have no idea what such an item might be worth today.

Think this is probably a coffee table. Odd shape but I have seen them before. 1940s mahogany. Not too much value these days. Maybe $100.00 retail on a very good day. 1/2 to 1/3 of that to sell quickly, at auction, or other wholesale-ish venue.

If it were standard table height I would call it an English Hunt Table................if it is coffee/cocktail table height I would call it a C-shaped coffee/cocktail table!

Yes I promised it to someone via text completely forgetting that I had promised it to someone else as well before! I still physically have the table however!

I agree, 40s looks about right. I was thinking if it's as tall as a kitchen table, that it could be a desk?

Try saddle soap on the leather. Gently and sparingly. I've never seen a thing that shape!

I once had this same one - mine was by Stickley Brothers - Grand Rapids (not to be confused with the "good" Stickley furniture.).
Mine was marked on the underside.

Is it large enuf for a croupier to sit in the middle? Stenciled underneath? Dimensions are helpful-often they help us avoid asking dumb questions.

Alas, Stickley Brothers is a hard sell - at least it was then, about 15 years ago and in Denver.
I think I only got $45 for it, and I had it forever.
