Tea Cart Help

    I looked till I gave myself a headache an I really thought this one would be easy, especially with the metal mechanism in it. Do any of you have any clue. You pull the little knob at the bottom an it releases it so it comes up to make a table. There is no writing on the metal anywhere an it's put together with Phillips an Flathead screws.

    I could definitely use that in my apt. Looks almost like a library cart. BWDIK

    Thank you so much, I searched for hours and found nothing. But it is interesting that they are calling it English, I would have never thought that.

    Brown Saltman Furniture made a line of these convertible carts attributed to designer John Keal. This one is stamped "78 Tea Cart" on underside similar to your "158 Tea Cart" stamp. So, I'd say it's very likely yours is a Brown-Saltman cart as well.
