    This is a nice piece that my son got. A guy he was doing work for gave him all these things.

    My Dad had one of those - like you said, 60's - It was kept inside and was never accurate.

    Well, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, as my mother used to say. All freebies. I have a nicely working barometer so we have something to use as a guide. We'll see how well it works!

    I know. I hear my mother a lot these days. Probably scares my kids because they spent a lot of time with my parents. I used to tell them if I started acting like her they could shoot me. Good thing none of them owns a gun!
