Featured Swivel Carnelian Ring Maker ID

    I picked this silver ring up from a car boot sale and wonder if anyone can help to ID the maker or can give me an idea of where to look please.
    The best I can describe the mark is that it looks like a large paw a ā€˜Vā€™ and some initials above. The only other mark is the 925.

    I think it's supposed to be the back of a scarab. I had a ring for a while with a real scarab (age unknown) in a flip setting. This ring looks like that one did.

    No idea really, but it looks a bit like runes.
