I see that Colin Birdseye was art director for Bill Grahm's Winterland in 60s & 70s, designing hundreds of Rock posters - but no real info on Studio Solo ?

Same, Johnny! My parents got sick of me playing the Paranoid album over and over. Good times!

From the article on this site:
    https://www.marinij.com/2012/02/26/...-birdseye-reflects-on-his-path-in-rock-music/

Puts him still creating posters in 2012 for his own company, Studio Solo. Given he stopped working for Winterland in 1993 (from the linkedin.com page (there is a typo on the start date 1900 should be 1980)), you can kind of estimate from 1993 to at least 2012.

Excerpt from the page referenced in the above link:

    PUBLISHED: February 26, 2012 at 12:00 a.m. | UPDATED: July 19, 2018 at 5:05 a.m.

SAN RAFAEL RESIDENT Colin Birdseye, 57, was Bill Graham’s art director at Winterland for 13 years, designing posters and T-shirts for more than 300 bands. Now through his own company, Studio Solo, he still designs for Bob Dylan, Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton, among others.”¯

Quite a few music historians are taking a second look at the 1970-75 era for the innovative work they did - much of their catalog really isn't all doom & gloom, many songs used upbeat Rock, jazz & even funk rhythms with multiple transitions. Of course the power with which they played is legend. Amazing it's been 50 years since we played those tunes !

Thanks, good information. 1990s-2012 era on the poster makes sense. Birdseye used iconic imagery from the early 70's albums quite well.
