Any thoughts on origin or age of these candlesticks? Very heavy and approx 6” H with a bowl diameter of 5”. Looks like an old inventory tag under the base. Thought they were interesting and expected a sig but none. Thought maybe 70s IMG_1120.jpeg . Consignment shop buy so absolutely no info. TIA

Colorway not really 1970s. I'd think a tad later.

I dunno-def. not sure but I just searched 70s green and yellow and got a ton of interiors in that color way. I wore that combo then but that was NYC.

The listing above is incorrect. 1970s green was avocado.

I respectfully disagree although I by no means know that these are 70s. Yes 70s had a ton of avocado but it also had other greens. These actually are pretty avocado in reality but my fave outfit of 1970 was a Kelly green mini culotte dress-kinda military with brass buttons. There were all shades of green.

Just looked at my pic-pic is much bluer than reality. The limey yellow is pretty true but the green isn’t. Funny…

I did too, even had a yellow blouse with green motifs on it. I lived in Sydney at the time.
Absolutely. I had an olive green skirt in the 70s.

I find with studio pottery that it is hard to date very accurately unless it's got a date on the base. You can sometimes date within a decade or less with certain styles and decoration, but even then... IMHO, these could be anywhere from the '60s to the '80s.

Agree although my gut says earlier rather than later. Thought for sure they’d be signed when I grabbed them.
