Studio? Black Glaze Pottery Jug

    Everything is totally off here. Don't know if the piece was done by someone with zero potting skills or the form was intentional. Can't tell if old or recent.

    Maybe the person who threw it, not far enough apparently... ;) just wanted to test a glaze method.

    I'd go with the "zero potting skills." Probably a beginning pottery class project, based on the type of clay, the bottom of the pot, and the relative lack of craftsmanship.
