I found this at the boot this morning. It was only a pound so it's a shot to nothing really. At first I thought it was villeroy and boch as they do a similar pattern and it has what looks like an impressed V on it. Google results show a royal Copenhagen dish though. This looks like it has a faded Copenhagen mark with some parallel blue lines. It doesn't explain the V. Though.

    Help I'm confused.

I see a Y. in it. And idf it is a Y, then here's someone with possibly (as it isn't visible in the pics) the same mystery mark

Unfortunately, the only answer he got, was a 'maybe you can find it here', with two links. Both leading to no longer existing pages ...
But maybe there's still some usefull info traceable with that Royal Copenhagen and Knud Kyhn combo.

Okay thanks. The second photo is definitely a Royal Copenhagen mark, so that's pretty useful.

It looks like the insert from a baking dish or a berry bowl or some such.

Yeah it's some sort of strainer I think. I've seen an example online alongside what looked like a casserole dish

Maybe for baking a roast? No fishing the meat out of the juices.
