Strange But Interesting Sterling Ring

I think this is a ring. Marked 925 on the inside. Measures a size 12 1/2. The border detail is pretty awesome and very detailed. No makers mark. Any idea on age?

 

It was made by the Newari people, Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. Maybe a Hippie Trail souvenir. The shape is unusual, most have straight tops.

They started marking 925 pretty late, so I guess post-1970.

It looks pretty new to me - 90s or later and probably 2000s.

 

Quite possible. In this case it doesn't really matter valuewise, it isn't antique.
