STORAGE AUCTION FIND! IS THIS A JOAN MIRO PAINTING??

    I saw this a few days ago at my friend's 2nd hand furniture store. I told him it might be something but I wasn't sure; so he let me bring it home to photograph & post here - and if it is a known artist (like Joan Miro?!), I would sell it & we'd split the money 50/50.
    The style is right AND the signature does look close to some of Miro's - so is it?
    If not does anyone know who the artist is?
    The only problem is there is some paint loss in the center (see 2nd photo).
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I think it's something done in Miro's style by an amateur/ young artist

    I'm not sure why you think the signature on your find is any like an authentic Joan Miro. Not even close.

    He has different ones - 1 I saw was kind of like this - but I wasn't sure that's why I'm asking. Thanks for the answer.

    Miró is so widely faked that many if not most of the signatures one sees on the internet are not his.
