Stoneware Beer Mug No Marks ID Help

    This Beer Mug is so different from any I have seen.
    It measures 5.25" High, top diameter 3", Bottom diameter. The decoration is a decal I think . Shape is different more cone like than usual. Any ideas of origin or maker?

    Does 0.5 l stand for a half liter? (Unfortunately we don't seem to have a font choice that equates to the letter.)
