    It looks like resin,and I remember this sort of thing being popular in the 70s,sooo...

    Looks like the work of Piero Fornasetti but likely is a knock-off.

    Hi,
    Thanks, Brad I could not think of Fornasetti for the life of me. I have sold over 2 doz of his plates and coasters but the name went by the wayside. These damn weird antibiotics have literally kicked my butt.

    It looks to me like a young Paul McCartney, which would make a lot of sense if it's from the 70s.

    Thanks for the replies. The stand is resin but the plaque gets cold so I guess some type of rock. I looked at that Pierro guy but his works are much more detailed.
